I’m Adeline
Kian stirred in
the morning still in this big bed, which now belonged to him. And he was
shocked when Miss Emma and Shane were ready for him with a tray of breakfast.
“Good morning, Kian,”
she greeted him with a warm smile. On her hand there’s a tray of breakfast.
“I hope you are ready
for your new day. Would you like to have a breakfast first or taking a bath?”
Kian didn’t know what to answer. He never had been served like
this before.
“The breakfast would
have ready served for you every morning you wake up, unless there’s a breakfast
on the dinning room,” she explained. “And after you finished your breakfast,
your hot water has ready for you to take a bath. Two maids will bathe you.”
Kian was blushed. Someone will bathe him? No way, he’s a big
boy, not a baby anymore.
“And don’t forget your
medication every morning and evening.”
Kian was even numb.
“Well, I think it’s
better for to take you breakfast first, before taking bath?” with putting the
tray on Kian’s lap.
Kian didn’t even answer it, as he didn’t know what else to say
but to do what he was told.
He finished his breakfast and ready for taking bath. But he had
to blush when there were two maids waiting him beside the hot tub.
“Can I take a bath
alone? I can do it by myself…?” he asked shyly. He never opened with somebody
else’s beside the sisters.
“No, Missy, they would
help you, and please no fight.”
Kian bit his lips, and let them opened his night shirt, and then
ask him to hope in the tub. This was his first time having bath on a tub!
With putting aside his embarrassment, he let those maids bathing
him. And for even embarrassed him, hey putting the oily on the water and it
smelled funny. He smelled like a girl!
The bath was taking almost an hour, when finally they taking him
out and lead him to the bed room. And again he had to shock when there were a
nice pink dress was being prepared. ‘No way would he wear that gown!’
Even he wanted so much to say no, but he knew he couldn’t. He
had decided to take this life, and he should live with it now.
Putting his pride as a boy, he didn’t struggle of even fight,
when they putting that pretty dress on him. Not even when they do his short
blond hair. He was so hard to seal his mouth for saying anything.
They needed almost half and an hour for dressing him, and make
him up, changed him to be a little girl.
And they really had to shock himself, especially for Emma and
Shane when Kian was ready. How much he was look like Adeline. Shane and Emma
liked seeing Adeline in flesh. With her dress, and a pretty hair do.
“Oh, My lord,” she
closed her mouth with crying. “Little Miss.” But she knew this wasn’t her. She
wiped her tears with a smile. “You really like her, son. Only God knows why.”
She sighed, “And from this moment, we will call you, Little Miss
Adeline, and please be Miss Adeline for us.”
With that all maids and servants on that room, and even Sir
Shane addressed him with Miss Adeline, and took a little bow before him.
Kian gulped. So this was it. He was Adeline now. A new life he
had to live. ‘God please help me’
“Kian,” a sudden
called as the door opened. And there was Sir Byron. He numb right away as
seeing Kian‘s new look. He couldn’t her emotion. He looked like seeing Adeline,
his beloved little sister. He was so like her. How that could be, only Lord
Heaven now.
“Sir Byron,” Kian’s
little voice brought Byron back. “Forgive me, Sir, they want me to wear this
dress,” he said shyly.
He had to smile wide, “Yes, it’s alright. It really fitted in
you, Kian, you are so like her. Or maybe I should call you Adeline, now.”
Kian bit his lips.
“You know we had to,
Kian.”
Kian just nodded slightly.
Byron looked to the other. “Thank you every one, hope we all can
keep this for mother.”
Everyone at that room nodded.
Byron sighed with a smile and turn back to Kian.
“Well, Kian, I shall
call you Adeline, and you may call me brother or maybe just Byron would be
fine,” he still smiled.
The smile comforted Kian, and he nodded with a smile.
“Oke, you have ready,
and mother had asking you, so shall we out? You even haven’t go out from this
room alone, didn’t you?”
Kian shook his head slighty.
Byron had to smile, he offered his hands, “Shall we, Adeline?”
Shyly Kian took it. Byron sighed in happily, he had his little
sister’s back. With that they walked out the room to meet their parents.
Nervously Kian walked by Byron side, led him to back terrace,
where Lord McFadden and Lady Evelyn had waited them
And there they were. Kian could see Milady sitting on a wheel
chair supported by pillows on her back and covered by the nice wool blanket.
She looked fresh, and her beauty was showed clearly. She was looking the flower
on the garden with Milord accompanied. There were such a love in those eyes,
how much he loved his wife, and would anything for her.
“Mother..,” Byron
called her softly.
The sick lady turned her head and had to smile happily as seeing
who’s coming, while Milord froze and numb for what he saw. He would never believe
if it wasn’t in front if his eyes. It was her!
“My princess,
come…,” she invited Kian to come closers and opening her arms.
Shly Kian, stepped closer, and that words just slipped out,
“Mother…” with that he burst in her arms, hugging him warmly. Her aroma… he
loved this aroma.
“My Adeline, it
good to see you in good healthy, love,” she traced that face. “You are look so
beautiful, love.”
“You too,
m..mother,” still nervous he called her by mother. But she didn’t notice.
She smiled, “I would be just fine, as long as I see you fine
too, my child. You are my life, so please don’t disappear like that again.”
Kian shook his head. “I
won’t mother…”
She smiled and kissed her cheeks softly.
Both Louis and his son, watched them with mesmerized, but yet
glad how Kian could play his role.
“Now, shall we play
outside love, I missed those flower?”
Kian just nodded. And without asked, Byron had move to the back
chair and pushed her mother’s slowly come out the garden with her father
behind.
It was a very good picture, how the happy family had came back
to this manor. Seeing Milady’s smile, and happily Byron and Milord face, not
mention Kian’s face too had bring the old family back. And strangely, Kian
didn’t look like clumsy and really like Adeline. He enjoyed his time with his
new family. He felt so happy even had to be Adeline. There were complete now.
It should be like, and they would do anything to keep this complete.
