Beauty Love - Chapter 48 - Everything Seemed Not Real

Summary : Both Kian and Mark , 11 yrs old, are an orphan at St. Peter Orphan House for Boys. They grew up together and happily, they were loved by all sisters and father, but they are still want to feel having a real family which mean having mother, father, and brother. Would they have that too ? 
 


Chapter 48
Everything Seemed Not Real


            Time tickled so slowly. Adeline just wanted to end the class and leave, but yet she didn’t want to leave Mark. Yes, now Mark was her biggest attention, not longer The Prince. And with that she had to join the class with The Prince and Mark. And yes, Mark was so musical. Of course he was Prince Nicholas tutor. And they took the lesson together. To Adeline surprised, Mark didn’t even recognize her as Kian. He didn’t see her anyone else but Adeline. Did she really so differently from Kian? Maybe she did. She could fool everybody except her family. She was really proud with that. She was a good actress!

The music class went so great. Adeline could act like she’s didn’t recognize Mark, and she acted as The Prince’s fiancée. When the lesson time was up, Nicholas invited Adeline to have walked a while. And she said yes. And during their time together, Mark really didn’t show his attraction to a woman. Not like any man who seeing her like seeing an angel and showed their lust. Mark did show his admired with her beauty but nothing else. There no lust on his face. He was so cold. Like the women was nothing for him. Adeline couldn’t see why.       

As the time was up, Prince Nicholas showed his upset face, and really didn’t want to leave Adeline.

   “Do you really have to go, my princess?” he sounded like begging
Adeline smiled softly wit nodded. “I’m afraid so, my prince.”
    “But we will meet again tomorrow, I supposed? At The palace?” with hoping sound.
    “Yes, my prince, I suppose so,” with the prettiest smile.
Prince Nicholas sighed with happiness.
    “Good day, my prince, Sir Michael, Sir Feehily,” Adeline nodded politely. So hard she acted so normal to Mark, and she tried to send him a signal, but again Mark showed nothing. He just nodded politely not like the other man to her. Adeline swallowed disappointed. She dismissed from them.

            Adeline took a very deep breath as she got out from the building. She ran to her cart where Shane had waited for her. She still had the nervous and unbelievable face that she couldn’t hide.
Shane could read it, and made him worried.

    “What’s wrong, Miss?” with his anxious face.
Adeline still couldn’t say any word. She still made sure herself, that the man she met inside with The Prince was Mark. It couldn’t be like that!
    “Miss…,” Shane called her slowly.
She jumped, “Yes, Shane?”
Shane scanned his missy face.
    “Are you alright?”
    “No,” that’s all she said.
Shane bit his lips, made him even anxious,
    “Miss Adeline, what happened?” with looking her and find any evident of her being hurt.
Adeline looked at him back, “Shane… Mark is The Prince’s friend,” with her cute blue eyes.
Shane went numb. He gave his surprise face.
    “But how…, and how did you know, Miss?” somehow he could r ead this wouldn’t be good.
    “He was there, Shane! Mark was there with The Prince, they played music together with Sir Michael!” she almost hysteric. “How can that be, Shane? How can Mark have to be Nicholas’s friend?” she was nearly cried.
Shane didn’t believed this would make The Missy upset, but he knew why.
    “And did he realize you are…?”
    “No! Thanks Lord he didn’t recognize me, and he didn’t seem attracted to me. Mark was like someone I didn’t recognize, Shane. He was like different guy.”
      “Could be because The Prince was there?” Shane tried to find the reason why Mark acted like that.
      “No. He wasn’t like the other man to me. He doesn’t have the passion like the other man had. He seemed didn’t attracted to a woman.”
Shane went silent. Somehow he could read something. He scanned her missy face, still upset there.
    “Right, now don’t be upset like that. He didn’t recognize you as Kian, that the good thing Milady, so he wouldn’t suspicious with your two identities. Can’t you imagine if he knew about Kian and Adeline is the Kiane person? And he could tell the prince…,”
Adeline took Shane’s words wisely, “Yes… it would upsetting the Prince…,”
     “Yes, Milady,”
     “But he should know about me, Shane, Nicholas should know that I’am_”
     “No, Milady, I don’t think that the wise thing to do. That will disgrace your father.”
Adeline sighed, “But they did this to me…,” her voice almost couldn’t hear,
Shane heard, but said nothing. He knew her feeling.
    “What is going on, Shane? Why it’s everything seem open up now. My mother, Mark comes back my grand father, the assault, and now Mark is Prince Mate. People from my past are came back in less than a month, and connected to the people from my past each other in less then a month. I wonder what happen next?” the voice was so desperate, and clearly scared.
    “I don’t know, Milady. But I promise the next happen would harm you. Everything is going to be fine, and you are gonna be alright. Nothing gonna happen to you. I promise Milady.”
Adeline just sighed and smiled at Shane.
    “Shane we go to Summerhill, I need Willa.”
Shane just nodded, “Yes Milady,” and commanded the coachman to direct the way.
