Beauty Love - Chapter 42 Back Home

Summary : Both Kian and Mark , 11 yrs old, are an orphan at St. Peter Orphan House for Boys. They grew up together and happily, they were loved by all sisters and father, but they are still want to feel having a real family which mean having mother, father, and brother. Chapter 42
Back Home


            As they arrived at the palace, Mark still couldn’t believe he entered the Buckingham palace as he always watched the palace from outside, behind the gate inside when he was kid. Father Simon used to take the tour to the palace, but only at front gate, never get inside. With Kian, he always wondered if they could went there someday. And now he was in with Prince Nicholas, and will meet the Queen. What else he could expected.

            He met the queen, and had a little time with her. It was a new experience for Mark. And he was so blessed with it. Then at afternoon Prince Nicholas asked to accompany him to meet Lady Adeline. She probably at her mansion at this time, and they could have time with her a while before meet her again at the palace for little ball. Mark couldn’t resist, beside he really wanted to meet Lady Adeline, seeing her beauty with his own eyes not only from Prince Nicholas description.

            Then Greenbelle, Lady Adeline’s mansion, but they didn’t find her there. The Maid said she probably at Nottingbelle, Marquis McFadden’s mansion. But they had to swallow their disappointed again as the lady was not there. They only meet Marchioness Evelyn as the Marquis and her son were not at home. She looked so lonely. And Prince Nicholas decided to accompany her for while, have a little chat with Milady, his mother in law to be. They talked about Adeline, the wedding plan and even about Mark! During the beverage, Mark could see how Prince Nicholas respected so much to this fragile lady, had a good relation ship with her. Then finally he saw her picture. Lady Adeline’s big painting was on the hall. And yes, she was so beautiful. No, she was an angel. No wonder His Prince was so crazy about her. And how lucky his prince had this beautiful lady for wife. It was a perfect couple. Mark even couldn’t wait to meet her in flesh.
           
They spent almost an hour there when finally they excused for something they had to prepare at the palace. But on the way to the palace, Mark excused to separate, as the day was still light.

    “May I go to someplace?”
    “Where do you want to go?”
Mark sighed, “St. Peter, my prince.”
    “The orphanage?”
    “Yes, it’s where I was come from, my prince.”
Prince Nicholas went silent. “Can I go with you in case you forgot the way, you were ten then.”
Mark had to smile, “It’s bit buzzy, but i’m sure i still remember the way, hope I will not lost.”
     “Then I’ll go with you.”
     “Excuse me, My Prince, you are waited by The Queen this afternoon,” his assisten remind him. “You cannot go.”
Nicholas showed dissapointed face.
     “It’s alright, my prince, I can go by myself, don’t worry, I won’t lost,” Mark gave a smile.
Nicholas had to smile.
     “Alright, just be careful, and just show my brand if you got any problem, okay.”
Mark nodded, “Thank you very much, Your majesty.”
Nicholas just smiled. “Send my regards to everyone at St. Peter.”
      “I will.” With that they disappeared, and Mark walked alone tried to remember the way.

And he sighed in relieved as he found the way. He still remembered it, even after 6 years old!  
     
Mark couldn’t hold his nervous, finding himself at this gate. It had 6 years, since he got here for the last time with his parents. He was hope he could meet Kian again then, but it was too late, Kian had been adopted, had his own happy family like he has. And now he didn’t expected he would meet Kian in there too, since Kian probably would never came back here after the adoption like he did.

Mark took his deep breath and slowly took his step inside and knocked the big door.

No body opened. Mark even felt nervous. He looked again to the plat, the name still ‘St. Peter - Orphan House for Boys’, it hadn’t change.
It needed time when finally the door was open. He had to hold his breath with a smile as the familiar face he hadn’t meet for 6 years welcoming him with her warm face.
     “Yes, Sir, can I help you?” with her gently face and voice.
Mark almost burst in tears. It was still her, even a little bit older.
It didn’t need long adjustment for her when he realized who he was.
    “Mark….?”
Mark sighed in relief, she still remembered him! He nodded with full smile.
     “Lord Heaven, Mark?” almost couldn’t believe her eyes. “You came back!?” with smile of gladness.
Mark smiled wide, “Yes, Sister.”
    “We never thought you would come back son. But I’m glad you did.”
Mark was numb. He tried to read that gently face. His heart started to beat fast.
    “Sister?”
But Sister Anne just smile and took his hand. “He is here too, Mark.”
Mark froze.
     “Kian?” with full hope.
Sister Anne didn’t answer it. He took Mark inside and lead to Music room where he could hear some lyrics he recognized.
