Chapter 32
That Woman named Willa
Adeline didn’t
know what to do. And she couldn’t believe her father let that happened while he
knew who his daughter was. The Queen was so please with to prince proposal, and
that make worst, they couldn’t denied it. Everything was still not sure for
Adeline now. The only she do was changed to Kian and bumped himself at the bar
It felt so
great when he entered the club and the guests had waited for him. They cheered
up for him, and said they kind a missed him for not performance lately, and the
all here just to hear his performance. Kian even couldn’t describe his feeling.
He never felt being waited before, not by her family. It’s such a different
feeling. He had his own fans now. And you know how it felt? Fantastic!!!
“Alright… alright,
I’m here now just to play for you,” he laughed and sat on the piano seat.
He just touched the one tunes, and everybody had gave him loud
applause, Kian could only smile wild, and he played it right away.
Kian was drifted away in the middle of the
song when suddenly they heard a crash. Kian stopped right away with everyone
turned to the sound just to find a maid stunned in pale starring at him, the
tray of glass just broke in pieces below her. And Kian stunned as well, as he
recognize the maid was the women he met at the St. Peter front gate. He did almost
forget her, but how could he. ‘She works here? Since when?’
Kian remembered the messing tray and almost stand up for helping
her, but Gillian had first done that, and turned to him.
“It’s okay, Kian, you
can continue.”
“Oh, okay,” he felt
hesitated and the eyes of that lady still on him, but he knew his audience
still wanted to hear his music.
He sighed, and turned to the audience, “Shall I continue!?” he
asked loudly with big grinned.
“Yeah, sure!!!!”
Kian smiled back and played again just for them.
Three songs he played for them and that had
pleased everyone there. Loud applause was sent for Kian, and he couldn’t stop
saying thank you with the proud feeling. Not only him who was proud. A pair of
eyes watched him with smile full of pride. And he kept look at him as he was
back to his sit. He smiled with relief he got Shane with him. He knew he could
always count the lad. With that he left
the bar.
Kian sat back just beside Shane and drink
his beer. He had learnt how to drink his beer right from the bottle just like a
man. Thanks to Shane.
“How am I doing?” he
asked his guard enthusiasm.
“Great as usual,”
Shane smiled gently.
Kian sighed with a smile glad. He turned over to find the maid
who had interrupted his play. She was on duty of cleaning the table. And he
couldn’t resist.
“Who is he?” he asked
to Charlie.
Charlie looked to the woman Kian pointed.
“Ah… Willa. She’s new
here. She needs a job, and we need a maid.”
Kian still watched her. And Kian could read, her gesture was not
really stabile.
“Is she alright?”
“Yea, we guess so. She
just had through much.”
“Yea… I believe that.
I saw her at the St. Peter’s gate,” it just slipped out.
“You went to St.
Peter?” that shocked Shane.
Kian even shocked, ‘Didn’t he have known too.’
“Yea…, you didn’t
know?” with his shocking expression that Shane even didn’t know.
“I lost you,” Shane
had to admit made Kian had to laugh.
“You lost me? I
wondered what Master would do if you lost me…,” with the naughty smile.
Shane didn’t want to answer it.
“So what happened to
her?” Kian turned to Charlie, asked with curious face.
“Well, she just got
out from jail for murderer.”
That numb Kian and Shane. “Murder? She’s a murderer?”
“Yea, that what she
said. Killed a man, her client.”
That even shocked Kian, “Client? Was she…” not daring to say it.
And Charlie knew where that led to, “Yes. And she paid 15 years for the murdered.”
Both Kian and Shane sighed
“And you hire her?”
Kian tried to understand, hiring the ex-criminal.
“Hey, everybody
deserved a second chance, and I could give her. Don’t worry, she still under my
eyes. By the way, she lost her baby. She gave it to St. Peter, probably that
explain you why you met her at St. Peter’s front gate.”
“Yeah…” Kian sighed
and looked to Shane, and Shane could read it.
“Stay away from
trouble, Sir,” Shane warned him calmly.
“What? I’m not
attending to do something.”
“Yes, but I knew you
too well, Sir.”
Kian had to smile, “Did you?”
gave him a mocking smile, “You lost me, Shane.”
Shane never fancied
answering that, made Kian had to laugh loud. Really it’s so great in this
situation. He didn’t see Shane as his guard but his friend. No limited between
Master and Guard or Missy and her guard. Kian loved this.
But still Kian could get away that lady from his sight. She
couldn’t believe she was a murderer and a prostitute. He really felt pity for
her, it must something that forced her for doing it. Kian could only sigh.
‘Poor women’

Far crossed the sea
Nicholas sighed
in relieveness. He was home back to Ireland and so homey. No place called home
but your own home country. But the most relieved him was his parents had grant
his proposal. King and Queen had agree for his choice, his queen to be;
Adeline. And they couldn’t wait to see the lady in the eyes. That what relieved
him. No one against him, and Lady Adeline would be his, The Future Queen of
Ireland. This is so perfect! Mark had to know it!
