Love Hurt

They met, by chance, on Bryan’s album's launch party. That was wild. They were all drunk by the end of the party.

Kian was way too drunk to drive back home. Mark was far better so he offered himself to drive Kian back. He had come in a cab and would catch one from Kian's place back to his hotel.

But he hadn't expected what happened. Kian's wife wasn't home for the whole week and he invited Mark in. He thought it was ok, just a drink or something.

But once they had got inside, and the house was dark, and they were alone, they realized it was useless. They wanted each other.

Mark at first, months after that, thought Kian had mad the first move, but then again, looking back, maybe not. Maybe he had smiled with lust and had given Kian the hint. The thing was that when he turned to look through the window he felt it Kian's strong arms wrapped around his waist.

And it just happened all that way, they couldn't even resist.

Kian laid his head on his chest. Just then Mark unwrapped his legs from Kian's waist. Kian, that night, pouted when he reached for Mark's chest hair. He had waxed it (and to think that that was just another way to keep that very man on the top of him away from his body!)

Kian looked up, to Mark's eyes, deep inside of them.

   "Mark?"

   "Yeah, Ki..."

"Jodi and I...we're to break up!"

"Oh..." Mark was in a mixture of happiness and madness (why did he have to mention her then?)

"We can't live the lie anymore."

    "Lie?"

    "Yeah!"

"I don't love her. Never did love her like I should. "The silence laid the ground work for the bomb. "The only one I love was you..."

    "What?"

"I love you still... I wish I had said it before. I couldn't! I'm sorry!"

Kian rolled over and caressing Mark's hair, he slept.

He closed his eyes and saw his reaction. He wanted to hug Kian, tell him he love him too, that all he wanted was to be with him. They'd live as one.

But he did it completely different. He was scared, a lot, and acted like a coward.

Once he knew Kian was sleeping (and he slept like a corpse), Mark stood up, got dressed and left. He never left a note, nothing.

He cursed himself for that, but also cursed Kian for having causing it. Why did he have to marry? Why did he have to leave him like that? How could he?

Mark went back to bed.

Before closing his eyes and giving in into the tears, he thought of the ultimate consequences of that night.

Kian had been so mad at him that he not only didn't want to ever talk to him again, but also drowned himself at work. His new band, where he'd bee able to break all the ties with Westlife. He was slagging Mark off.

Ultimately that had meant the end of Westlife.

Mark knew deep inside the real reason for all that. But didn't think he was the only one to blame. Kian couldn't ask him to put all his life back all of a sudden. He could have said something before.

He tried to say that it made him laugh, but he knew that actually that just made him cry, like now.

Mark cried himself to sleep. His life would go on. He would make his career work out, one-way or another. He would be happy.

One day probably he would run into Kian, and He'd put on the show. But silently he would keep praying for Kian to be happy, and maybe he'd keep praying for a miracle.

 THE END

So .... sorry for the short >>> :D
